Does anyone in the mid-Atlantic or southeastern U.S. grow Veratrum nigrum? I like the looks of the plant, but I wonder if it will tolerate our hot and humid summers. It has not escaped my notice that all the U.S. nurseries selling the species seem to be in the midwest or northwest.
