Hello Andrew, That sounds very interesting! Would it be possible to send pictures of this early flowering Veltheimia? There is one early blooming variety of Veltheimia capensis which might even be a third species, V. deasii. There are pictures of both species on Telos‘ website. If this plant is seeding itself it would be interesting to get some of it’s seeds through the BX.
