Dear All, My best sucess with Alstroemeira seed was when I sowed the seed straightaway, labelled it properly with the date of sowing and then left it in my greenhouse so that it was exposed to the fluctuating temperatures. warm in summer, cold but frost free in winter. The pots should not dry out completely but neither be soaking wet. Alstroemerias will germinate when they find it suitable, maybe after a short time but maybe also after some years, yes years.
