My experience with them is that they're very forgiving. They are capable of putting on new shoots at any time, not absolutely requiring a complete dormancy. A new shoot should be on the way shortly. Mine is now a clump of several two inch or more bulbs. I've been growing it for about five years. It's in a tricky spot: under a skylight, on top of a kitchen cabinet. Erratic care comes with the territory.
