Any suggestions on storing pollen?

Hi James,

thank you for this page of valuable information. One little comment: You
recommend blue silica gel to dry pollen. this uses Cobalt(II) chloride
as humidity indicator, which was identified as highly carcinogenic in
recent years. It (hopefully) should be difficult to obtain now and I
strongly recommend anyone to give any remaining leftovers of blue silica
gel to a professional disposal service, as there are several non-toxic
alternatives.
