Because everything outdoors is coated in ice today, and I already did everything else domestic, I sat down to clear up the boxes in my book room that had remained unopened since I moved 4 years ago. I found some issues of the Calochortus newsletter "Mariposa," edited by Georgie Robinett and then by Diana Chapman. I would be happy to mail them to someone with a special interest in the genus. Most of the information in them has been superseded by Mary Gerritsen's and Ron Parsons's book, but there are more details about some species.
