Blooming in April

Following is simply photos of much of what bloomed in my garden and wild on the roadside in my area in the month of April. Early in the first few weeks of April the daffs were finishing up, as well as a few snowflakes (the flowers, not the real thing since it has been in the 80's F). I was lucky to find some fritillaries growing right on the side of the road, my ideal site to botanize since I'm pretty strapped for time (kids and whatnot). There was more, but you'll just have to look:

I'm also proud to announce that I've finally escaped my job in the cabinet factory (we made kitchen cabinets under names like Thomasville, Decora, and a bunch of others). I am now working for a well established beekeeping company that is literally a ten minute drive from my house! They are primarily breeders, having been breeding queens for sale across the country for the last 20 years.
