For the future, check the emails you get against the ones on the list archive [1]. If you consistently lose emails then I can report it to ibiblio. email is not reliable - if you run a mail list you'll soon find that email hosts go down for short periods and reject the odd email. Tough luck if that was the job offer of a lifetime, the love letter from your childhood sweetheart or the warning not to drink the water. Probably they would have been routed as spam anyway.
