Today, I got a box of tree band pots in the size I wanted, and tried the method of installing the screen as described by Nhu. Works perfectly. (Thanks.) I have a large supply of window screen on hand, so that’s what I used. I worry, a little bit, that roots may grow into the screen at the bottom of the pot, but the plants will probably die long before that can happen.
