Thank you, Mary Sue and others that have responded to my questions. I'm not really trying to get rid of my crocosmia, which is a good thing, since I'm pretty sure I pulled out more than a few top corms, leaving the rest in the ground. I'll look through the pile of bulbs and if I can find a good example of the runners, I'll get a photo. My other experience with corms is with genera like gladiolus and crocus that make cormlets. Does anyone know of any other corms that send out runners? Vivien MA, Z6
