Hyacinthoides hispanica

One particular garden bed of mine became a jungle 15 years ago when I moved
to my new house, and only in the last couple years have I been reclaiming
it back from the weeds. Hyacinthoides hispanica persisted under the dense
overgrowth & it is blooming beautifully this year.

I don't remember much discussion about this genus or species on PBS, so I
thought I'd share some pics that I took this evening. It regularly sets
seed, so I can donate some to PBS this summer if there's interest.

Enjoy!
