Galanthus and bees

At an AGS meeting this evening Galanthus honey was mentioned in passing. This was around the Mediterranean where the Galanthus were flowering on the slopes and at higher altitudes, but the bees may have been active in the valleys and along the coast below for some weeks/months before.
