South African bulb collections to see in California?

The UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley received almost the entire bulb
collection from Irvine in 2003-4. Sadly, most proved of limited value to us
because data had been lost or mixed and worse,many of the bulbs had been
eaten by rodents or if alive, mislabeled. We have what's left.
