Robin, Basically, Anthecology is the study of plants and their pollinators, or floral visitors (if they don't provide pollination services but still visit the plant). I'm certainly not an expert, but I learned the word after I had been "doing it" for a few years anyway. I've read and learned far too much on bees and other pollinators, I could bore you for hours. It's my favorite hobby, intertwined with gardening.
