Hi I was having a look at the Wiki Pest & Disease section & noticed we have very little in the section. An excellent sign I must say, pretty good bunch of growers.. I was hoping someone might add Amaryllis Moth with photos of the moth or moths that relate to the one with grub with bold black & white stripes. I have googled looking for photos of the actual moth that relates to this grub, I am in Queensland Australia so if anyone could point out the moth that is here, please post a photo so I know what I am targeting. I haven't sprayed for 10years in my garden & want to try to target the particular insect if I can, rather than blanket spraying the whole garden. Could I also have advise on what to use as a preventative on other plants ?, because they are spreading, first amarcrinums, then crinums & a few hippeastrums. The last two weeks I have cut many leaves with grubs inside them & burnt them but I see they are out growing me while im away at work 3 days a week, coming home to big grubs eating my bulb cores & new leaf damage from new grubs.
