Bees and toxic bulbs

Any worry about poison honey from Galanthus or Eranthis will be eased knowing that the bees would consume the honey and feed it to their young (with no I'll effects) long before the honey was ever harvested by the beekeeper.

The nectar is too deep in Narcissus for honeybees to reach, but they have little interest in them anyway, even for the pollen. Bumblebees here like the early flowering Narcissus for the pollen.
