Growing Tecophilaea Suggestions

I grew these in the garden, as Rodger wrote, in a sandy spot near the
house, so the eaves kept off some of the summer rain. They did very
well. I worried when the rain beat straight intothat area, but it
didn't bother them. So as long as it is very well drained, some summer
rain is no problem.

Since then needed that spot to put a plant bench, so at the moment these
are in pots.
