Scadoxus multiflorus - how to bloom?

That sounds interesting. When you say that your climate is cool during these 4-5 month how cool is that?
I remember that I had it flowering years ago - maybe I have been to kind by watering the plant now and then in wintertime.

In Zambia, S. multiflorus is dormant for between April and November where it's completely dry except for the possibility of a rare rainfall. In that time, April to mid August is cool and dry while late August to November is hot and dry. Maybe trying to replicate such conditions will help with the flowering?
