Ah, that makes more sense - yet more confusion caused by perpetuating
illegitimate names.

My favorite example is *Typhonium* (*Sauromatum*) *venosum*, which the
Dutch growers still insist on calling "*Arum cornutum*." Take a look at
this packaging:

Surely that painting must violate some truth-in-advertising laws! *Arum
creticum* with *Hippeastrum* leaves, maybe?
