How cold tolerant are these wasps?
I have had a population of similar looking 'wasps', about 4x the size of
the ones in this link, which parisitise small flies by landing on their
backs sometimes while the fly is in flight. The 'wasps' I have live in the
sand under glass where I plunge Tulips Iris Freesias etc. I have had them
for about 6 years now. The colony came through minus 18c (0F).
