First flower

That all depends.  I had some lovely Kniphofia hybrids and they just 
took over. Must depend on your climate and soil conditions.  So now this 
one is theonly one I grow, more because as far as I know it isnot doing 
so well in the wild.

When this one flowers in the wild, the plant is under water, and it only 
flowers in the wild when there is a real rainy season, which is not 
every year.
