Peter and Roger, Thanks!! Thanks for the advice. This particular plant has sentimental value, besides being a really nice plant, so I'm glad there is hope. I have a couple others, and yes, they do fairly well outside in protected spots. Victoria is just a smidge more ocean moderated that we are 100 km further to the South, and somewhat in the rain shadow of the Olympics. /And to all, an enjoyable holiday season!!/ Dave
