Worsleya problems

I coincidentally ran into Leo at his home 2 years ago today!
I was walking down the sidewalk and he was busy raking-out an infestation of Worsleya seedlings from beneath his Saguaro. I kept a few of the largest for myself before Leo set the rest aflame in the ditch. Despite their succulent stems, they burn like torches! (and smell of caramel corn!) Fascinating plants - it's a pity they are so invasive in arid climates.
