rescue non-horror stories

Hello Folks,

Very similar to Gastil's story, I too had and still have a home owner who has a very large clump of a very fragrant and pretty bearded iris just a block from my house. I would walk by there all the time admiring them but was too chicken to take even a little piece for fear of getting caught.

Well, several years ago my aunt was visiting from Argentina and had walked in front of that house and she very nonchalantly reached down and grabbed a hand full of rhizomes...I was horrified and worried she would get caught. Luckily she didn't and now I have very overgrown but beautiful clump about 5' x 5' in my garden but out of sight so no one can see.

Moral of the story, if you're too chicken to do it yourself, ask a brazen relative or friend to do for you.

Warm Regards,
Fred
