Veratrum viride, False Hellebore at Heather Meadows, near Mt Baker, Washington State, with Spiraea densiflora and among ripening blueberries. The blueberries in these places are always a challenge to pick at maximum sweetness and aromatic flavor that develops just before the killing frost which always arrives between September 11 and 20 around here. Still tart, maybe next week.
