Veratrum viride, False Hellebore at Heather Meadows, near Mt Baker, Washington State, with Spiraea densiflora and among ripening blueberries. The blueberries in these places are always a challenge to pick at maximum sweetness and aromatic flavor that develops just before the killing frost which always arrives between September 11 and 20 around here.
