Your baby bulbs are probably fine. They'll just start growing later and (if they are blooming size) bloom for a shorter time. I have a friend who never watered his until late October. They grew fine but rarely bloomed. I keep most of mine dry from the time they go dormant until the start of August. Then I start watering them. That gets them blooming in October/November. Mike
