Hardiness of Themidaceae, was fall planting and storage

I have been growing Dichelostemma ida-maia since 2006. I had some small bulbs from the Archibalds. Hardiness isn't my problem with minimum temperature -7°C in the coldest winter but I have only had one flower. I grow them in a large clay pot which is plunged in a frame in summer to provide a dryish rest. Any suggestions?
