Whats blooming in the park this week.. is this a Moraea?

I vote for Moraea polystachya which blooms for months this time of 
year and can become practically weedy in a southern California 
gardens with summer water. It's less successful for me in Northern 
California as my garden is quite dry in summer and perhaps cooler. 
But I have some blooming now in one of my raised beds.
