My congratulations go to the contributors and editorial staff who produced the Winter 2012 issue of The Bulb Garden. It was an excellent one, far superior to those coming earlier. After a long pause, its arrival a day ago was doubly rewarding. Rachel's account of the IBSA conference was interesting, lively and informative while Mike's article on Moraeas will surely serve as inspiration to those who have not seen or grown these gems of the bulb world. Even the Book Review, a section in plant journals through which I sometimes pass with glazed eyes, came through with comments that encourage me to acquire the illustrated Kew Plant Glossary.
