Kniphofia expedition

I have just come back from a 3 week trip to South Africa to study at Kniphofia.  If anyone is interested then I kept a blog of the trip including some nice photographs of the plants here:

I know Kniphofia are not strictly speaking geophytes, but they have many of the best features of South African bulbs - there are also some genuine geophytes sprinkled amongst the photographs on the blogs too.
