Made a short trip North to UC Irvine's Botanic Garden this past weekend where their South African bulb bed was in full Spring bloom during unseasonably warm weather approaching 90F by the afternoon. Very enjoyable, but I was in a hurry and my photos are incomplete and don't them do justice. Cooler temps and welcomed rain are predicted tomorrow.
