I'm with all the other replies you received on 
the SRGC forum.... Crocus sieberi ssp sieberi is 
my first thought on seeing the pic, and that 
seems to be what others have thought as well.  I 
certainly have an identical plant to yours, but 
under sieberi ssp sieberi.  Spring though, not 
autumn.  I'd be guessing mixed seed, as also 
mentioned by someone else.  I'm not a crocus 
expert though, I should loudly point out! <grin>
