Gastil: The answers to your questions would depend on the bulbs and location. I'm in Northern New Jersey and I over winter Dahlias and Alocasias in the basement where it stays cools and dark. All my SA bulbs that are winter growers go to the basement as well. The greenhouse gets much too hot during summers reaching 100 to 110 F at times.
