A geographic note: the specific epithet "adzharicum" refers to the autonomous 
republic of Georgia usually spelled these days "Adjaria" or "Ajara".

Similarly, the epithet "abschasicum" refers to Abkhazia, the breakaway 
autonomous republic now de facto under the sway of Russia.

Those interested in eating the cuisine of the regions from which our plants 
come are pointed to "Adjarian khachapuri", a sort of cheese-filled turnover. 
Khachapuri with many variations is widely made throughout Georgia and also 
found in eastern Europe. There is an amusing short YouTube video "Eating 
Adjarian Khachapuri" which will entertain some:
