Pamela, I have never experienced Lachenalia seedlings lasting through the summer, especially when in full sun in 105+ degree weather. Perhaps others have though. In regards to cuttings, I have had great success with Lachenalia cuttings on a heated propagation bench in a 85 degree greenhouse, with high humidity. Provided proper humidity, temperature shouldn't be of much concern (especially this time of year). Colin Davis, California
