Richard:

Asparagus asparagoides is fabulous for us here in NC, where the weather obviously keeps it in check.

In Vista, CA I have serious problems with Asparagus
asparagoides. It shows up everywhere, can cover a small citrus
tree in no time and the tuberous roots are difficult to remove.

Here in Oceanside, CA. I grow the following asparagus:
aethiopicus, africanus, asparagoides, densiflorus, denudatus,
falcatus, minutiflorus, plumosus, racemosus, retrofractus,
setaceous, suaveolens, and virgatus. Joe
