The colors of Colchicum flowers

David, I'm with you 100% on that - that's the best time to get accurate colors. The colors which give me the hardest time in full sunlight, typically whites and bright reds, are much easier to get right on overcast days. 

But in the case of colchicums, I think they need some help: their "true" colors are usually so cold and dull that it's hard (for me at least) to ignore the transformation which takes place in warm light.
