What is flowering this week

Jim, I also have Z. Candida, this is definitely the Verecunda, I have
been told that it is rarely grown. It is short, only about 3inches
tall, the most consistent flowerer. Almost all year it has a flower or
two, except for a few months over winter, although it had one flower
even then.

Z. Candida is much taller, and flowers basically from January until
about April here. It is very common, also is sold in all nurseries.

As for the Iris, that is quite likely, as it was a small piece which
happened to be growing in another plant I bought from the Auckland
Botanical Gardens.
