Ehemanii

I have Ehemanii which came from OHG 2 years ago. So far the leaves show no lines and I believe it is clean. I had obtained iridiflora-ehemanii several years ago (from a reputable source) which grew fine but had the faint lines in the leaves, I destroyed that specimen.

I really like the pendant flower habit and have wanted to get others with this form. I believe the one I have is sterile so no seeds to play with.

There is a good article on Canna Ehemanii on the Old House Gardens website. http://www.oldhousegardens.com/
OHG also carries heirloom bulbs and they have a very informative newsletter should anyone be interested.

I do grow Canna iridiflora in my garden, it needs a lot of space as it can reach 8-9’ here in Auckland. We shifted the clump last year
and it was like taking out bamboo.
