Dear Friends,
Things are definitely winding down in Kansas City.
The last few saffron flowers and a couple of Crocus banaticus.
	1 (just one) Galanthus reginae-olgae
	Last Allium thunbergii

Why ? We have still hardly had a drop- of rain going on
weeks and weeks. Now today we are finally get a long slow drizzle
that will be more than 1/10th of an inch. Actual puddles. Even after
more than a few freezing nights we can still get some late flowers on
all of the above and more.

	More fall crocus I hope.

This has been a dismal end of summer due to our drought, but
hopefully things will be looking up after a good rain even if it
brings a little snow as is forecast, too.

I hope to report some much better bloom next week. Fingers crossed.
