Hardy Amaryllids (Was Hardy Nerine)

I planted several in my yard this year and it seems they've all come up a long with Amarcrinum, Amaryllis belladonna and Hippeastrum xjohnsonii!  I planted several around the yard and the only places they came up were the ones that were protected from rain.  We had a very wet winter this year!  I also didn't get them planted till October, I think if I put them out earlier I would've had more success.

I've planted several Hippeastrum hybrids this spring such as 'Appleblossom', 'Red Lion', 'Ambiance', 'Amorice', 'Rosado', 'Brazza', 'Sydney', xjohnsonii, H. vittatum (in a very protected spot), an heirloom variety and 'Clown'.  I plan on planting several more throughout the garden in protected spots.  I've seen a few Hippeastrum in gardens around here and I have very high hopes that my plants will be successful.

I did plant out a xAmarygia that didn't make it :(  I planted it in a unprotected spot, what was I thinking???

Anywho, I will continue to update the progress I make.  If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to let me know!
