A purple field

Fair question. We were heading for the hills above Greyton where there had
been fires over a year before and now there was splendid blooming of Ericas,
Leucospermums and in particular, young growths of Leucandendrons that they
wanted me to see. We hiked over those hills that day. It was terrific! I had
seen many bulbs further west and wanted to see some other wonders of South
Africa.
