Subject: [pbs] virus infected Bruns litoralis X josephinae

I dug this up ater noticing the slug/snail damaged leaves and virus (?) affected variegated leaves.  The bulb and roots seemed otherwise healthy.  I am spreading snail bait around my other plants as well as treating with imidacloprid.  Do slugs/snails transmit virus or were they attracted to this plant perhaps because of its supressed immune level?  My other healthy-looking plants do not seem to attract slugs and snails.
