OT: Aquilegia

Jim, are you sure?

So if I want to register a new seed strain of Aquilegia, how do I do so via
Touchwood? How do I search past registrations for named selections of
Aquilegia canadensis? etc...

As best I can tell Touchwood just has an amazing collection of cultivars
and species. They don't seem to be an international society or an official
holder/registrar/recorder of named cultivars. Or maybe they are and I just
can't find that info on their (massive) website.

I'm accustomed (spoiled??) to using Google for finding websites for plants
that strike my fancy... like:
     http://www.gesneriads.ca/
     http://www.signa.org/
     http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/…
     http://passionflow.co.uk/passiflora-hybrids.htm/
     http://www.brazilplants.com/menu.html

At this point the question is rhetorical. I'm just baffled such a site
doesn't exist for Aquilegia. Touchwood's site does not satisfy my
scientific curiosity about this genus. Nor does Google. And that's
annoying for almost 2012.

Sorry - forgive my OT rant. Time to go study the BX 300 offerings! Woo
hoo!
