Oxalis pes caprae and gophers

Every year I discover a gopher bulb stash, usually when they all sprout out of the ground in a single mass, this one was lying in wait under part of the lawn I am removing. All bulbs found in an area the size of a small shovel.  Only Oxalis bulbs, only the largest ones, if only they could be trained to leave other bulbs alone...
