Polygonatum

One of the groups I hope to make sense of (by molecular means) is the odoratum group. The type of odoratum is European so its name won't change. The Japanese material is likely two or more species; maximowiczii in the north, pluriflorum (the commonly cultivated species with red stems, variegated, etc), and thunbergii.

Most of what is in cultivation in North America seems to be the Japanese pluriflorum. The only "commonly" available true odoratum is "Flore Pleno." I have a few European clones, but the more the merrier (and also better accuracy in molecular work as long as the genes are informative).

I have Polygonatum odoratum RGBB for you LN IJmuiden Netherland
I still don't know what the correct name is
Is the Asian one true named
or the European one the true one
and is the Dutch one (the only one growing in the dunes) an other ssp. or var.

So, I ask now if anyone has plants with provenance and they are willing to trade I am more than happy to discuss possible trades. Any Hinkley collections would be superb (except DJHC600, falcatum, and lasianthum which I have). Chris Chadwell collections from the previous decade, Jurasek, etc.
