Hi Rob,

I would certainly like to see that image and will have to go to  local
university library to see it as I do not have that issue of Herbertia. As
you say, H. argentina has been merged into H. marginata. However, the image
of H. marginata that I do have in the article

is nothing like what I saw. As I pointed out to Alessandro, there is an
inconsistency or error somewhere.

I have been following the discussion with interest and have just remembered
and article in Herbertia  58 ,2003-2004, Hieronymiellla , A Little  Known
Genus From Argentina and Bolivia by Silvia C. Arroyo- Leuenberger and Beat
Ernst Leuenberger.

Your web image  is quite similar to H marginata  photographed in Puna-
habitat in  Jujay in the article. H argentina is reduced to a synonym of H
marginata.
