       The items listed below have been donated by our members to be shared.
 If you are interested in obtaining some of them, please email me PRIVATELY
at <ds429@comcast.net>. Include "BX 241" in the subject line. 

         Specify the NUMBERS of the items which you would like; do not
specify quantities. It is a good idea to include your snail mail address,
too, in case I don't already have it. Availability is based on a first come,
first served system. When you receive your seeds/bulbs you will find,
included with them, a statement of how much money (usually $2.00/item)
(cash, check, or Pay Pal to <Arnold140@verizon.net>; no money orders,
please) you should send to the PBS treasurer to defray our costs for packing
and first-class, priority-mail, or international postage.

 PLEASE NOTE: CURRENT POSTAL-RATE SCHEMES NECESSITATE OUR PLACING A
SURCHARGE ON EACH ORDER FROM PBS BX OFFERINGS.

    Some of you are members of the online PBS discussion forum but are not
members of the Pacific Bulb Society. THIS BX OFFERING IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO
MEMBERS OF THE PBS. Consider joining the PBS so that you can take advantage

From David Ehrlich:

1. Seed of Dietes iridoides. Open pollinated plants growing at Redwood City,
City Hall.
2. Seed of Gladiolus alatus. Parent from Annie’s Annuals
3. Seed of Gladiolus cunonius. Open pollinated and growing adjacent to G.
splendens.  Seed parent from Annie’s Annuals.
4. Seed of Gladiolus splendens. Open pollinated and growing adjacent to G.
cunonius.  Seed parent from Annie’s Annuals.
5. Seed of Sparaxis grandiflora ssp grandiflora Parent from Annie’s Annuals 
6. Seed of Sparaxis metelerkampiae Parent from U.C.BerkeleyBotanic Garden 
7. Seed of Sparaxis pillansii. Open pollinated; the seed parents themselves
might be hybrids.  They are of unknown provenance.
8. Seed of Sparaxis tri-color. Open pollinated, and growing close by S.
pillansii.  The seed parents are from the U.C.BerkeleyBotanic Garden
 
9. Cormels of Sparaxis tri-color. These are from plants purchased at the
U.C.BerkeleyBotanic Garden.
10. Cormels of Sparaxis pillansii. I’m not sure of the provenance of these
plants; they may be hybrids; some are pink and some are orange.  At the time
of collection, I no longer had any way of distinguishing which were which.

11. Small bulblets of Tritonia dubia. I think these came originally from an
earlier PBS distribution. The bulbs are small and winter growing. Flowers a
pastel tangerine color.  These are a small growing plants well suited to the
window sill for northern growers. Charming.

flowers, repeat bloomer in winter-spring in Arizona, vigorous
19. Bulblets of Oxalis gracilis ex Alberto Castillo BX 192, apricot
20. Bulblets of Oxalis compressa winter growing, double yellow, ex A.
Castillo BX 192, fast multiplier
