ants & bulbs

Hi Linda:

Are ants the only critters in your yard? I've got a lot of ants in
between the paving stones on the patio and some nice plantings of
Alliums along the border. Other than the nectar, they don't appear to be
all that interested in the ornamental onions.

It is odd that both the bulbs and bean seeds would disappear from the
same location. Any gophers in the neighborhood?
