Michael, If you just used a single font and embedded it, it would save you some KB -- although with Arial there is probably no need to embed it at all. I would also be happy to try to get the file size down with Acrobat's various optimization features. By the way, I haven't had time to look at them again, but the graphs in Olivier Filippi's Dry Gardening Handbook are very useful in this regard (and might have some better data for Chile).
